FAQs

  • Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that aims to improve structural mobility within the body, thereby, helping to restore function. It is based upon the principles that the body is a unit, that structure and function are interrelated and that the body has a propensity for self-healing. We, therefore, can appreciate the systemic changes that can occur from osteopathic treatment, not only in the musculoskeletal system, but throughout the entire body, including the nervous system, respiratory system, lymphatics and circulation.

  • Naturopathy is one of the most popular forms of complementary medicine in Australia today. It emphasises holistic disease prevention through natural, therapeutic methods, including dietary and lifestyle intervention, herbal and nutritional medicine. It is based on the principle that the body has an intrinsic ability to heal itself, with individualised treatments focused on addressing the cause of health issues, not simply the symptoms.

Any herbal medicines/nutritional supplements can then either be delivered to your door, or if you live locally, you can collect them from your nearest clinic.

  • This varies, depending on your health status, health goals, timeframe, budget and the number of supplements you might need.

On average, most patients may be prescribed 1 x bottle of liquid herbs, and/or 1 x nutritional supplement, which may cost anywhere from $65-$100. Of course, we will offer all of the potential treatment options available to suit your particular budget and preferences.

Please keep in mind the price of the consultation does not include the prescribed medicines.

  • It’s completely normal to not enjoy the taste of your herbal medicine – it is medicine after all!

Try adding a dash of almond milk to your measuring cup of herbs before you take it, to help mute the flavour. We find keeping our herbs chilled, in the fridge also helps.

But please do not stress - If you have tried and really cannot stand taking your liquid herbs (like the thought itself is unbearable) just let us know and we can offer you alternatives, such as tablets, capsules, powders or tea, if you prefer.
